John is the founder, former CEO, and current Chairman of Fortis Solutions Group, a leading provider of printed packaging solutions servicing customers across the U.S. and Canada from 22 manufacturing locations. He has achieved two successful private equity exits, having grown the business from a single location in Hampton Roads, VA offering one product line to a North American platform with multiple product lines and printing capabilities. Previously, he held various positions within the investment banking units of Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley in New York, where he focused on M&A and capital raising.

Tim is a trusted business advisor with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, serving in a variety of leadership and client-facing roles. Most recently, he served as the Norfolk and Richmond Tax Managing Partner for BDO, a top five global accounting firm. Known for his client-centric approach, he provides tax planning and consulting services across a range of industries. He brings deep M&A expertise, guiding clients through complex transactions from initial structuring through post-deal integration, with a focus on preserving value and aligning tax strategy to broader business objectives.
